1. INTRODUCTION
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and payment disputes are managed for services provided through the Skild Platform.
It should be read together with the:
- Skild Platform Terms;
- Privacy Policy; and
- any additional terms published on the Platform.
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

- Parents and Guardians making bookings on behalf of children;
- Users purchasing subscriptions or digital products through the Platform.
3. SKILD SUBSCRIPTIONS
3.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance unless otherwise stated.
Subscription fees are payable regardless of the level of Platform usage during the billing period.
3.2 Cancellation of Subscription
Users may cancel their Subscription at any time through their Account settings or by contacting Skild.
Cancellation will prevent future renewals.
Your Subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period.
3.3 Refunds
Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, Skild does not provide refunds for:
- change of mind;
- unused Subscription periods;
- partial months;
- unused features;
- failure to use the Platform;
- accidental purchases where the Platform has been accessed.
4. FOUNDATION COACH OFFER
Eligible Foundation Coaches receive the promotional pricing agreed at sign-up.
If a Foundation Subscription is cancelled:
- promotional pricing immediately ends;
- reactivation is subject to Skild's pricing available at that time;
- Foundation pricing is not guaranteed to remain available after cancellation.
Foundation pricing is personal to the approved Business and is not transferable.
5. CUSTOMER BOOKINGS
Bookings made through Skild are contracts between the Customer and the relevant Coach or Business.
Skild provides the technology platform only.
Accordingly:
- cancellation policies are determined by the relevant Coach or Business;
- refund decisions relating to coaching services are made by the Coach or Business;
- Skild is not responsible for refund decisions relating to coaching services.
Customers should review the cancellation policy of the relevant Coach or Business before making a booking.
6. MEMBERSHIPS
Memberships offered by Coaches or Businesses are governed by the terms established by that Coach or Business.
Where a membership is cancelled:
- any applicable refund;
- notice period;
- cooling-off period;
- membership freeze;
- transfer rights
are determined by the relevant Coach or Business unless otherwise required by law.
7. DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Digital products may include:
- coaching programs;
- online courses;
- downloadable resources;
- instructional videos;
- digital memberships;
- educational content.
Once access to a digital product has been provided, refunds are generally not available for change of mind.
Nothing in this clause affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
8. FAILED PAYMENTS
Where payment cannot be successfully processed, Skild may:
- retry the payment;
- notify the User;
- suspend access to paid features;
- suspend bookings;
- suspend coach payouts where applicable;
- cancel the Subscription if payment remains outstanding.
Outstanding fees remain payable.
9. CHARGEBACKS
If a payment is disputed or reversed through a financial institution:
- Skild may investigate the transaction;
- access to the Platform may be temporarily suspended;
- Businesses remain responsible for disputes relating to coaching services they provide;
- any fees charged by payment providers relating to chargebacks may be recovered where permitted by law.
Fraudulent chargebacks may result in immediate suspension or termination of Platform access.
10. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.
Where services fail to meet consumer guarantees, Customers may be entitled to remedies as provided by law.
